FAQsQuestionI have stretch marks all over my breasts it's so embarrassing and I don’t want to keep hiding them. I want a cream or something that gets rid of them. Please help me. Answer If you're noticing stretch marks on your body, then you're not alone. Most girls and women have stretch marks, which tend to show up on the breasts, thighs, tummy and bottom. Stretch marks are actually tiny scars that form under the skin when a part of the body grows more quickly than the skin that covers it. Stretch marks are a normal part of puberty for most girls and guys as that's usually when we grow or gain weight really quite quickly Some unlucky people will get stretch marks even with only small amounts of weight gain while others never seem to get them no matter how much weight they put on. It is important to wear a well fitting bra to minimise the stretching on the breast. Stretch marks first appear as red or purplish wavy lines. After about six months they start to fade, and after about 12 months the lines become silvery and much harder to see. Although there are lots of creams and skin products that promise to eliminate stretch marks, the truth is they don't work and they are expensive. No diets, creams or lotions are any better than the natural fading that happens by itself over time. Laser therapy can make the stretch marks fade a little more quickly, but it is very expensive and you will still have the silvery lines anyway. If the stretch marks are only in a very small area it is also possible to have cosmetic surgery to remove them but this will also leave a scar, which for most of us is worse than the original stretch marks.
