Will my partner feel the ring during sex, and could it get caught on the penis?

Most studies suggest it is unusual for women's partners to feel any discomfort during sex with the ring in place. It is very unlikely that the ring would get caught on the penis because the ring is positioned high in the vagina.

If it is a problem for your partner, the makers of the contraceptive ring advise changing to another form of contraception rather than regularly removing the ring each time for sex.
