The instructions say to take the two pills with 12 hours in between, but my friend said she was told she could take both at once. Is this right?

Answer

The manufacturer recommends that you take one of these tablets as soon as possible after unprotected sex and one exactly 12 hours later. So if you take the first one at 11am, you take the second one at 11pm.

Recent studies show this emergency contraception works just as well if you take both pills at once. It's also much more convenient.
