FAQsQuestionCould you tell me about the disability resources your organisation offers please? Answer Family Planning NSW is a state wide training organisation. The disability services we offer include providing resources and training to staff and carers of people living with a disability, to enable staff/carers to offer sexuality education to the people they support. FPNSW does not conduct one-to-one sexuality education for people with a disability. Nor are we aware of any other service providing this type of education. We do not offer one-to-one sexuality counselling. People with a disability and their carers are most welcome to attend our clinics for appointments. For information about appointments call the Family Planning information line on 1300 658 886. The Healthline nurses will be able to discuss the services we offer and assist with making an appointment If you have a question about training or education on appropriate and safe social/sexual behaviours, you could also ring Healthline. We can let you know about the available resources that may be helpful. These come either from: If you are interested in receiving free resources such as the "Sex, Safe & Fun" booklets and discussion guide, condoms and FPNSW information, please forward your address and request to statehpu@fpnsw.org.au, or phone Healthline on 1300 658 886 Another great resource is the new "Love and Kisses DVD", which covers disability, relationships and sexuality.
