Question

Why do I have to keep a diaphragm in for six hours after having sex?

Answer

Sperm can survive for up to six hours in the vagina. After this time they will all be dead.
The diaphragm can be worn around the clock for convenience, just removing once a day for washing, six hours after the last time you had sex.

The Emergency Pill can be used if a diaphragm has been removed earlier than six hours.
