How long after stopping the Pill should we start trying for a baby?


Answer

You can start straight away, but you might like to talk to your doctor about pre- pregnancy health checks before you stop the Pill. For example having a rubella check and starting to take folate. See our pregnancy planning Fact Sheet for more information on this:
