Question

When I stop taking the Pill how long will it take for my normal cycle to return?

Answer

Once you stop taking the Pill, your body's hormones will begin your menstrual cycle again.

Your cycle will probably return to something similar to what it was before you were on the Pill. So if it was around 35 days before the Pill, it won't be the 28 days of the artificial pill cycle any more.

Women whose periods have not started again by three or four months after stopping the Pill should talk with their doctor, nurse or other health provider.
