Once you have found out that you are pregnant, when can you arrange an abortion?

Most women find out that they are pregnant after their period is missed. Pregnancy is measured from the first day of a woman's last period. For example, if a woman's last period started on the 6/11/08, on the 11/12/08 we would say that she was now five weeks pregnant. Medical abortion can be performed from five to seven weeks of pregnancy. Surgical abortion from about six to seven weeks.
