The Women and HIV fact sheet series is currently being updated by Family Planning NSW, ACON and AFAO (Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations). The previous Women and HIV fact sheets have been removed from this website.

For information regarding Women and HIV please download the Treat Yourself Right resource via the link below. This resource, produced by AFAO and the National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS (NAPWA), is aimed specifically at women with HIV. It provides information on a wide range of topics with a focus on health maintenance and treatment information.

The information in Treat Yourself Right was correct at the time of writing, however, information on HIV/AIDS is being constantly updated. The booklet is a guide only. If you are considering any treatment or therapy for HIV/AIDS, seek the advice of a qualified medical practitioner. The information in this booklet is not intended to promote or endorse any specific treatment for HIV or AIDS.
