Newcastle FPNSW Centre provides a range of sexual and reproductive health services for men and women of all ages.

Professional and confidential services offered at the Newcastle FPNSW Centre include:

• Information on all forms of contraception for men and women
• Checks and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
• HIV/AIDS tests and information
• Pap tests and breast awareness
• Oestrogen implants
• Implanon (contraceptive implant)
• Pregnancy tests
• Post-natal checks
• Advice and information for pregnancy, preconception, menopause, infertility, sterilisation, and pre-menstrual tension

Health Promotion

Newcastle FPNSW Centre provides information on any aspect of sexual health and sexuality, for young people, and men and women of all ages.

Menopause/Women's Health workshops.

Have all of your questions answered, learn more about menopause, women's health issues, be up-to-date with the latest research on menopause/hormone therapy/alternative treatments/osteoporosis, pelvic floor and sexuality during the menopause.

These small groups (with a maximum of 10 participants) are held Thursdays 6-9pm, second-monthly at the Hunter Family Planning Centre. Cost $15, supper provided. Bookings are essential. Click here to view schedule of workshops.
