Evaluation of Truscan test for detection of abnormal cells of the cervix

Summary This trial is evaluating a new tool for the detection of abnormal cells of the cervix, it is called a"Truscan". This is a "pen like" device which scans over the cervix to detect abnormal cells.It is completely painless. Each woman will have a Truscan, a pap test and a colposcopy (an examination under a microscope).
 

Who can participate

Any woman who requires a pap test.

What to expect

A 30 minute visit to the Research Centre at Ashfield FPA.
Each volunteer will have a Truscan exam, a pap test and a colposcopy.
