Hormonal intrauterine device

Summary Do you suffer from heavy periods? Would you like to try a new method of IUD which offers contraception as well as reducing heavy menstrual periods?
 

Who can participate

Women aged 18-48 years willing to have an IUD inserted who are using condoms or have been sterilied or partner has had a vasectomy
Now completely recruited.

What to expect

1 year participation in the trial with frequent blood tests.
Reduction in menstrual blood loss.
Reimbursement for travel during participation.
