Aim
The aim of the panel speakers training is to equip participants with the skills and confidence to speak on panels about their personal story and experience of being a young same sex attracted person.

Objectives
To provide opportunities for young people to develop clear boundaries, structure and practise a panel speaking story, listen to and discuss issues with experienced panel speakers, identify and develop skills to respond to difficult questions and situations and supports.

Outcomes
By the end of the two day training participants will be able to:

State how the Same Difference Panel Speakers program fits into Family Planning's affirming sexual diversity and anti homophobia education strategies.

Structure and practise their 10 min panel speaking story.
