Family Planning NSW Dubbo Rural Centre provides a range of reproductive and sexual health services for women and men of all ages.

Confidential services offered at Family Planning NSW Dubbo Rural Centre include:

  • Pap tests and breast awareness
  • Pre and post natal checks
  • Fertility information
  • Menopause information and management
  • Sexual health information and testing
  • Pregnancy tests and counselling
  • Menstrual disorders

Community Health Promotion

Family Planning NSW Dubbo Rural Centre provides health promotion and education, services to schools and other community groups in Dubbo and surrounding areas. Training and education of health professionals is also provided to Dubbo and surrounding areas in collaboration with the Family Planning NSW Professional Education Unit.

The Family Planning NSW Dubbo Rural Centre is located in the centre of Dubbo and is a block away from the railway station.

Aboriginal Well Women's Clinics

Family Planning NSW Dubbo Rural Centre provides a safe and friendly environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.  Dedicated clinics are held at the Family Planning NSW Centre and at the Multi-Purpose Allira Gathering Association to provide a safe environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to talk to female doctors and nurses about women's business - Pap tests, STI checks, contraceptive advice, pregnancy advice, menopause and menstral problems.
